Frescobaldi Castello Nipozzano Chianti Rufina Riserva, 2018

This Chianti Rufino was a good match for a very good fettucine bolognes dish at La Fenice in Toronto.

Deep and dark. Sangiovese cherries, red raspberries and oak spice. Not at all soft: good acidity, medium body and accessible tannins. A good restaurant wine.
