But the 2003 Cotes de Tablas at that price seemed too good to pass up. Wish I had bought a few bottles on release and kept them in my cellar. We did open a 2003 not ...Fred, thanks for the note! We did open a 2003 not too long ago here at the winery, and it was still showing well. But I would suspect that if you got it recently at a retail store that it had gotten lost in inventory somewhere and likely hadn't been stored in ideal conditions for big chunks of its life.
